Here at SPEDCO we’ve officially changed our name to Amplio Economic Development Corporation. Over the years, our capabilities have expanded, and it’s time our name caught up with that growth. We wanted our brand to reflect the fresh, exciting opportunities that we have for banks and their business customers far beyond St. Paul.
The Amplio name does a good job of characterizing our renewed energy and expanded commitment to using SBA 504 loans – and much more – to help businesses grow not just in the East Metro, but across Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Amplio means “expansive,” and we chose it for a reason. We recognize that every great idea deserves the room to grow. After all, when your job is to help entrepreneurs think big, there is no such thing as a “small” business loan.
Rest assured, the team you know and trust will remain the same. We are simply working to expand the possibilities available to our customers.
