
As part of Minnesota’s Shop Local initiative, Amplio’s new CEO, Brian McDonald, and loan officer, Andy Clausen, recently joined lending partners Kim Storey and Angie Trocke from Highland Bank on a visit to Sift Gluten Free, a bakery in Minneapolis, MN.
Sift Gluten Free started at Minneapolis-area farmers’ markets in 2013 and expanded to a storefront in 2017. They utilized Amplio’s SBA 504 program in concert with financing from Highland Bank to purchase their building. They now employ over 15 staff members, making artisan, gluten-free baked goods both at their retail setting and for wholesale distribution.
