As part of Minnesota’s Shop Local initiative, Amplio’s team recently joined Brian Whitemarsh, VP/commercial banking at CorTrust Bank, on a visit to Asian Mart in South Saint Paul, MN. Amplio’s CEO, Brian McDonald; loan officer, Chris Kaye; and closing and servicing assistant, Ligaya Exala, met with store owner Watson Fong.
Asian Mart is a Filipino and Asian grocery store selling unique items from the Philippines. They also serve prepared food such as buns, dumplings and halo-halo Filipino “dirty ice cream” with ice. Fong utilized Amplio SBA 504 financing along with CorTrust Bank to purchase their building and equipment.
